AB The influence of the HIV virus on the central nervous system tracts has
been definitively shown. Over the past year we have affected
otoneurologic tests based on elicited auditive potentials and tests of
oculomotility on a total of 30 patients affected by stages II and III of
the disease. The results show that around 27 percent of cases present
alterations in the provoked auditory potentials and 20 percent in the
oculomotility tests. The results are compared with those of previous
studies.
